Pencil Pals hosts regular drawing-based events in Norwich, bringing people together to meet, get creative and have fun in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Founded in August 2026, our first event, Drawing Social, was an immediate success. The evening brought people together through relaxed drawing, creative conversation and a series of fun drawing games designed to encourage collaboration, creativity and connection.
Next up is Portrait Party — a “draw and be drawn” life drawing event with a twist. Rather than simply drawing a model, participants take turns sitting for one another, making everyone both artist and subject. It’s a fun, social way to explore portraiture without taking things too seriously.
And there’s more to come. Future events will include a Manga Workshop, where host Lily will share her knowledge of the Japanese art form and introduce Norwich to the world of manga drawing.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or someone who hasn’t picked up a pencil in years, Pencil Pals is about getting together, getting creative and enjoying the process.
